Quaries of Sadhaks --- 23

Q. Namah Shivay, I had a question, is the "Shambhavi" the highest deeksha? Or Sri Vidya is the highest deeksha? I've heard in shambhavi shivirs' promos and even from Babaji that shambhavi is the highest deeksha a seeker can get, however, on the official website i.e. www.shivyog.com, in the tab "Shivyog path", it is advised that Sri Vidya is given after Shambhavi and it is the highest deeksha. Please clarify which belief is correct?

A. Namah shivay ji. Shambhavi deeksha is actually the highest deeksha a seeker receives. And Shree Vidya is like the crown. Only the king wears it. In the earlier times, Shree Vidya was given only to that disciple who was the worthiest and most sincere in his spiritual practice. So, a self realized Guru used to dispense this deeksha to only one disciple. So, it was not as if Shree Vidya was available to all. Shambhavi was the highest every disciple got and Shree Vidya was reserved only for the best of the best. Although in the modern context, all sadhnas are infinite. Whatever the Guru is giving, it’s like amrit. Accept it as the best thing for you. Nothing is big, nothing is small. Whatever the Guru says is big. Whatever sadhna you receive is the highest for your consciousness. Blessings.

Q. Namah Shivay, those who have not associated with the shivyog also can they play this chant? Namah shivay.

A. Namah shivay ji. The healing effect will be tangible most to the sadhaks who have been initiated by Baba ji during the shivir also. But for those who have not been initiated, they may also chant this and play this at their homes or in their cars and chant along with the CD. Blessings.

Q. Namah Shivaya... by chanting this mantra can we heal our loved ones who deserve it more?

A. Namah shivay ji yes of course. You can also keep it played all through the day in your home for beautiful results. Blessings.

Q. Nothing is impossible for a Shiv Yogi but the same Shiv Yogi cannot show on TV how certain sadhanas or Kriyas are done why?

A. Namah shivay ji. The sadhnas can only be received in the physical presence of the Guru. The shishya has to be present before the Guru and become worthy enough to receive it. Sanctity of the procedures cannot be overlooked at the altar of possibility and impossibility. Whatever the Guru ordains for us, we should obey rather than complaining about petty issues. There is a moral, ethical, spiritual and physical price to paid for everything. Nothing comes for free. And even when this healing mantra has been opened for the masses, it has not come free. The responsibility is of the sadhaks to heal themselves and the world by using the mantra. Blessings.

A. Namah shivay ji. Yes you may give but please make sure that utmost respect is accorded to it by the person being given. This is one of the most powerful and activated healing mantras. Handle with care and make sure only a worthy person receives it and who does not upload it on other hosts and makes money out of them or some such nefarious motive. Blessings.

Q. Namah shivay, what is the ShivYog way of fasting? Like we don’t eat anything in the day and we indulge ourselves mostly in chants and meditation, so should we eat anything in the night i.e. dinner or we don’t have to eat anything for dinner and survive on fruits in the entire day. Please clarify. Thank you Namah Shivay.

A. Namah shivay ji. There's a detailed way of ideal eating which Baba ji prescribes as food for a Shiv Yogi. That is discussed in good detail in the DVD on Diabetes which is available in the Shiv Yog divine shop. However, if you specifically ask for fasting, Shiv Yog says that one day of the week, when you don't have much physical and mental activity, you must reserve for yourself. On this day, you must stick to fruits and curd the whole day. Lots of water also. And on such a fasting day, you have to perform sadhna and sankirtan at least 4-5 times or even more. Mobile phone is to be switched off and electronic gadgets such as computer and TV are to be totally abstained from for total peace of mind and complete rejuvenation. If you are successful in achieving one day like this every week, you will witness a drastic improvement in not only your work efficiency but also your overall health, energy and every aspect of life. It will turn your life into somewhat like a Shiv Yog shivir. Blessings.

Q. If one has been graced with Nachiketa Agni Dhyan by Babaji, Can I meditate with this mantra?

A. Namah shivay ji sit and chant this mantra daily, Verbally or mentally with eyes closed. Blessings.

Q. Namah Shivay, I am a practising Reiki master. Can I still do reiki healing & Shiv Yog,as I am a saadhak as well?

A. Namah shivay ji. Shiv Yogi will help enhance your Reiki powers immensely. But when you do the Shiv Yog healing, please do not charge anything from the person being healed. Blessings.

Q. Namah shivay some sadhaks (old age) are not familiar to the internet, can I give them a copy of burnt cd?

A. Namah shivay ji. Yes you may do that but you have to be very careful that they do not disrespect it or sell it further or make copies and distribute it to unworthy people. Now you have got a lot of power. You have great responsibility with that power. This is a gift from Baba ji and ideally every sincere sadhak should receive it. If you are sure that the person receiving it will be able to treat it with the kind of brilliant respect you yourself are keeping it with, you may go ahead and help others too. And if you find the person good enough, do make him cautious of these things too. Present the Mantra which much love, telling them exactly how you got it and that this is a direct gift from Baba ji and has to be accorded utmost respect. It is sheer love from Baba ji, so needs to be treated with a lot of respect and caution exercised that no one sells this or tries to monetise such a divine gift. Blessings.

Q. I am a student and I have not attend any shiv yog shivir, can I use this mantra while doing studies for better concentrations or for sharpening my memory to remember the things or while doing yoga.

A. Namah shivay ji. For ideal results, play this CD at the place where you are going to study, half an hour or an hour before you will sit there. And when you sit for study, switch off the mantra for total concentration. You will see the result for your own self. Blessings.

If you have not been initiated in the methodology of healing others by the Guru, you must not do anything on your own What you can do is keep the mantra played and chant it along with Baba ji's voice in the mind and visualize the healing energy all around you.
