Q. Namaha Shivaya! Can u please answer: How to prevent the mind to
fall into the trap of negativity once there is a failure in life (be it small
failure or big). The moment there is a failure, it’s very difficult to take the
mind out of those thoughts until it’s too late and that too, even after doing
Sadhana, and Sewa.
A.
Namah shivay! It is exactly for situations like these that the Prati Prasav
sadhna exists. When the sadhak is unable to release negativity by his own
efforts and using his own spiritual energy, the Guru's energy has to be sought
in his physical presence. Ishan ji is kind enough to be carrying out so many
Prati Prasav shivirs with the grace of Baba ji just for experiences like yours
so that no Shiv Yog sadhak walks the path of life with the burden of the path.
Listen to Baba ji's videos, do the chantings as of now. Do not leave the
sadhna. Fixed time. Fixed place. And attend the Prati Prasav shivir at the next
given opportunity. Blessings.
Q. Namah Shivaya. Please advise if we can do the sacred Sadhna when
we are abroad for overseas trip? Thanks.
A.
Namah shivay yes you can do it but carry a woollen asana to sit for meditation
and never do the meditation on bed. Always on the floor with a woollen asana
below you so that the energy is not earthed. Blessings.
Q. Namaha Shivaya! Please share the details for Webcast of PRATI
PRASAV SHIVIR, Austria, (as mentioned on www.shivyog.com) 25th April - 27th
April, 2014? Please confirm and will it be the complete Shivir or selected
timings so that one can plan schedule in advance?
A.
Namah shivay ji the shivir will be held as normal. Just that Ishan ji will be
on video conference mode. The energy will remain the same as also the timings
and other arrangements. It will be a normal shivir. Blessings.
Q. Namah Shivaya Babaji. I cannot adhere to same time and same place
sadhna, as I'm a doctor and have to do either day duty, or night duty or even
24 hours duty. In that scenario, I try and do sadhna daily, without fail,
sometimes even at my hospital in between
work, but defer following a particular time frame by compulsion and not by
choice. Does this mean that I'll have a stunted spiritual growth, or spiritual
progress? Please guide me and tell me how to combat this situation. Namah
Shivaya. Thank you.
A.
Namah shivay! Baba ji holds doctors in the highest regards. He says that all
day long the doctors act like God to so many patients so the good work does not
stop. It is quite praiseworthy if you do the meditation despite your routine.
The main aim of meditation is for you to evolve on the spiritual front. In your
case, when there is night duty, have a fixed time in the day that you would do sadhna
at. When there is day work, you should fix a particular time at night to do the
sadhna. For example - During day duty, your sadhna time is fixed at 8pm at
night. During night duty, your sadhna time is fixed at 6am. So whenever its day
job, you do meditation at 8pm and whenever there is night duty, you perform
sadhna at 6am. Thus, there will be a pattern to your routine. In spirituality
if you wish to reap rich dividends, discipline is must. Blessings.
Q. Namah Shivay! To maintain the regularity, while traveling for a
longer period (more than a day and some time a week), Is it advisable to do DSS
(without chanting loudly) and Meditation in the train/plane/bus? Kindly guide.
Namah Shivay!
A.
Namah shivay! The intention is that we stay connected. In whichever manner it
is possible, we must establish it. And whenever and wherever possible, we must
do the sadhna at dedicated time and place. What you have suggested is alright.
Blessings.
Q. NAMAH SHIVAY "BABAJI" I HAVE A CD OF GOA SHIVIR OF
SHREE VIDYA SHADHANA LEVEL 2.EVERYDAY I MEDITATE AFTER COMPLETION OF DDS.CAN I
GET "BARODA SHIVIR'S 2012 SHRI VIDYA'S CD.I SHALL BE HIGHLY OBLIGED,IF
MANAGE TO SEND ME. NAMASHIVAY!!!AT PRESENT I AM IN US CHICAGO.
A.
Namah shivay ji. There is no point in practicing the sadhna in which you have
not got initiation from Baba ji. Do the meditation which has been taught to you
in the shivir you yourself attended.
You
should practice only the sadhna imparted to you during the shivir which you
attended. Besides that you can do the guided Shree Vidya 2 meditation, the CD
of which is available in the divine shop.
Also, it is entirely the Guru's grace what he imparts. The grace can never be bought or sold. Here is a Siddha who is dispensing wisdom which has never been told in the modern age by anyone in the world, and here are the people who are ready to defy his requests. The few months that Baba ji taught how to make the most sacred Paradeshwar Lingam, resulted in sadhaks defying Baba ji's orders and selling it like a commodity. Those still sells the Paradeshwar after learning how to make it from Baba ji have done great disservice to the Guru's vision and desecrated live God himself. For all those who read this post, please share it with those whom you think have advertently or inadvertently committed such a mistake. It’s a request from Baba ji not to sell it. The grace consequences will be for you only to confront.
So after such a malpractice of selling Paradeshwar, Baba ji had to put this deeksha on the backburner. So now, we have to make do with whatever blessings we receive. May be in the future when the purity level enhances, Baba ji might reveal it again. The only way to receive the Paradeshwar Lingam is to ask somebody to gift it to you after he himself makes it. Baba ji has forbidden the sharing of this arcane wisdom to whoever has received it during the shivirs. This was a deeksha and can be transferred only by the Guru. So even if someone who has received it from Baba ji, he cannot transfer it to others. It will be ineffective. All this works on resolution of the Siddhas. Baba ji has also requested all sadhaks to only gift it to others and never charge even a single rupee for it otherwise there are negative consequences to be faced. Blessings.

Q. Can you please answer: in the family due to so many Circumstances
I'm not able to do sadhna on a fixed time due to which I’m not feeling much
progress I'm practicing Sri Vidya2 from two years. Please suggest me.
A.
Namah shivay ji. Being a grehjasthi, you have the best opportunity to attain
self realization by enjoying the best of both the worlds. But all of that is
entirely in your hands. You have to set such a time table which enables you to
perform the meditation at a fixed time daily. Only and only you can do that.
Blessings.
Q. Namah shivay. Am asking a question on behalf of several sadhaks
who also face this same problem which hinders our sadhana. Many often,
especially on the beginning of our spiritual journey, we encounter random
thoughts in our daily Sri Vidya dhyan. Sometimes we get carried away by this
thread of thoughts in the middle of meditation. When we manage to get our mind
back to the mantra it takes only a while before the thoughts abound again and
the mind roams and wanders in a never ending vicious circle. I wanted to know
what babaji mentioned about it and whether and how to put a stop to this
natural phenomena. Some school of thoughts say the more we resist and repress
the flow of thoughts the more they proliferate while another one suggests that
we become hollow and empty and think about nothing for a successful meditation.
On practical level the latter is almost next to impossible for us, new sadhaks.
I feel that 75% of my sadhana gets lost and hence I am not progressing. Please
guide us and kindly let us know the shivyog way for tackling this matter. Thank
you :)
A.
Namah shivay. Firstly the more you worry about a problem, the more you
perpetuate the same. So firstly stop worrying. You are doing all this for
happiness, for evolution. So why the negative emotion of worry? Peace can’t be
brought through war. Secondly, the importance of Yam Niyam in Shiv Yog is
emphasised time and again by Baba ji for this very reason. The moment you let
your mind slip, it will go astray. To regulate the flow of thoughts, adhere to
a time table of sadhna. Fixed time. For example you set 6am in the morning as
your time to meditate. Now, every day you must be there at the place of your
meditation at that very time. No doing it at 630 or 7 or 730. There has to be a
pattern. Your mind will slowly get tutored in a pattern and thoughts will
subside. Thirdly, do not skip sadhna even once. Start the chain of discipline
immediately after attending a shivir. The energy is high and the flow can be
made easily. Fourthly, there are guided meditations, particularly of Shree
Vidya and Durga Sapatashati. You should start with these meditations where at
every step; you have to follow a certain procedure so there is no room for
distraction. Before beginning meditation, chant the Guru Stuti and ask the Guru
to help you concentrate, you shall succeed. Blessings.
Q. 1) The diya should have 1 or 2 cotton swabs? 2) We have to use
TIL (Sesames oil), 3) What to do on 9th day with the sown Jau grain? 4) What to
do with the coconut and betel nut kept with Kalash? 4) what to do with water in
kalash? 5) How when and where to dispose old or duplicate god idols?
A.
Namah shivay ji 1 swab, Til oil yes. Give the grain jal samadhi. Coconut and
betel nut are now prasad. Eat it. 5. Drink the water in the kalash. It is
consecrated. Old idols are to be given jal samadhi in the nearest river with
piety. Blessings.
Q. Namah shivaya just 2 more query: 1) the visarjan to be done on
9th day or 10th day after Saptshati paath? 2) when Kanya bhojan should be done
i.e. 8th day or 9th day as we have Saptami so what should be the correct way.
A.
Namah shivay ji all days are equally auspicious. Kanya bhojan must be organized
on all 365 days of the year. Baba ji does this all through the year. And Jal
samadhi can be given on any day. Blessings.
Q. Please say the conditions of wearing Shree Yantra and Mrutunjaya
Yantra please please Namaha Shivaya jai maa kali.
A.
Namah shivay ji. You can wear them the moment after you receive initiation in
any of Baba ji's deekshas. Although it’s not as if non-sadhaks cannot wear it.
But the yantra will get recharged by itself when you perform the Shiv Yog
meditations. Blessings.
Q. Namah Shivaye! Can you please suggest if we can do Shree Vidya
sadhna while lying down on the bed at the time of sleeping? Please advise...
A.
Namah shivay. The Shree Vidya sadhna is the most sacred meditation in the
world. It can never be treated with disrespect. The meditation itself is
pronounced as Shree so you can imagine how pious it is. Never do this on the
bed. Dedicated pooja altar. Dedicated place. Dedicated woollen aasan. Dedicated
time. Discipline. This is sadhna to regulate your mind and senses. It cannot be
performed in a leisurely manner. Utmost seriousness and respect is required.
Blessings.
Thank you for informative & really needed a post about meditation.
