Day 3
Namah
shivay! As a spiritual scientist, Baba ji has reported through meditative
observations that the pineal gland, about which medical science is yet to find
anything concrete, is seeing a rapid deposition of calcium, leading to its
calcification. This has led to the overall decline of the modern day man.
The pineal gland is the highest centre of spiritual doorway in our physical body. It controls the level of tolerance, the behviour, the level of discipline, physical health, emotional health, rhythm of the body and the overall functioning of the endocrine system.
The decadent and pathetic lifestyle of the contemporary times as also the view of the medical science that we can afford to ignore this gland, has killed the emphasis on the activation of the Pineal gland, which corresponds to the Agya chakra in the forehead. This explains the rapid decline of moral values and disinterest in improving one’s own self through meditation.

Such
interesting spiritual diagnosis formed the third day of the Goa shivir.
Over the course of the last few years, Baba ji had made it a habit to give healing energy in a controlled and regulated way, even in Shree Vidya shivirs, so that it does not become difficult for the sadhaks to digest so much energy. But, the old timers will agree on this that the kind of exceptionally uncontrolled and excessively powerful healing being performed here in Goa by Baba ji reminds one of the good old days of the vintage Shiv Yog healing shivirs of Rishikesh.
Baba ji has himself admitted that the energy that he is dispensing this time is ruthless. It will burn karmas very strongly. The effect of the divinity is such that during the meditations the level of peace and karma release reaches a point where there is a continuous flow of valium secretion from the pineal gland. Almost everyone has reported such tranquility and peace of mind that even during meditations, one feels like falling in an infinitely long sleep.
Baba ji though has said that this is the real stupor which Lord Shiva is known to be in. People think that Lord Bhairon, an avtar of Lord Shiva consumes alcohol to stay in a state of drunkenness. But this “high” is not one caused by drinking alcohol as believed in popular religious folklore. It is caused by a deep state of peace and tranquility, currently being felt by all the sadhaks in Goa. Try talking to any one and you will know more,
Day three of the ‘Art of Self Realisation and Kundalini sadhna shivir’ or in simpler terms, Goa shivir, was one where patriotism was the flavour of the day. But this patriotism was not the one which involves the usual lectures about culture, history, independence, life sacrifices, national pride etc. Rather it was something never heard before. The following write up will put in a nutshell all the teachings of the day under their corresponding headings. Let us start with spiritual patriotism.

BABA JI
ON SPIRITUAL PATRIOTISM
1. Every place of residence has four entities which one is indebted to. These are:
a) The Mother Earth, on which the ingredients of the food we consume grow. Without the fertility of the Mother Earth, there won’t be any life since there would’ve been nothing to eat.
b) The Sthaan Devta (Demi-god of the particular location of residence)
c) Graam devta (Demi-god of the district/village, larger area where the residence lies)
d) Kshetrapal (Demi-god of the entire region in which the residence is. For example Kal Bhairav is the Kshetrapal of the city Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh)
Every human being, living under a roof is answerable to these four. He is indebted karmically to these four.
The fulfillment of each of the above four entities can be done by these ways:
1) To pay back Mother Earth, respect all living and non-living beings of nature. Crae for them, feed them, keep them clean etc.
2) Keep the residents of your house very happy. Love them, accept them and forgive them. Create a very positive atmosphere at your home. Doing merely this will ascend the Sthaan devta, paying back its debt.
3) Graam devta can be pacified by working for the welfare of your state/city in any manner.
4) The debt of the Kshetrapal can be paid back by loving your community, your country, your countrymen.
2. Richness is not limited to only the quality of being materialistically rich. To measure the richness of a family, a society, a community or a nation, just witness how happy or unhappy are the people of that family, society, community or nation.
3. As a people of this holy land, we have developed a tendency to appoint a government and leave the rest for it to manage. To quote Baba ji, “As individuals, we all are possible instruments and tools in the machinery of the nation. We must do our bit for the upliftment of the country. Governance is not something outside, to be performed by only those ruling the country. Governance is something we have to undertake in every possible way at our end. Don’t be a parasite or mute spectator to the development. Governance is not about welfare schemes, it is about how much responsibility you are willing to take to work for the betterment of the land which has given birth to you.”
4. Come out of your comfort zone. Do not harbor an attitude which believes in the motto that everything that is wrong with the nation, with the people, with the society is because of someone other than you. Ask yourself, what has been your contribution to remedy the situation. Because complaining and fault finding is very easy. What is constructive is the individual contribution to eradicate social ills such as poverty and illiteracy.
5. A Shiv Yogi will always have the win-win attitude towards all. That means in any situation, may he also emerge a winner and others too taste victory. No one is left crying. Everyone goes home happy.
6. Little sacrifices on an individual level can help carve a grand future for the nation.
7. Don’t cry over the fact that there is lack of opportunities in your country. Create the opportunity by being the best. And the first step to succeeding in being the best is to harmonize your energy. All successful people have their energy focused in their field of work. There is no conflict of thoughts about the surety of success. They do not believe in pre-conceived notions. They do not think about failure. They give their best and discount the factors which a loser states to justify his defeat – inauspicious destiny.
8. Don’t be too critical of things. Respect the individuality of every human being. Being a spiritual person, you must enquire from your own self these questions to know whether you have become too intolerant of others.
a) Am I a true believer of God?
b) Are you a believer of only your God?
c) Do you believe in others’ God?
d) Is your God different from the God of others?
A true Shiv Yogi is tolerant of all religions. He does not distinguish and discriminate on religious, racial or caste lines. All are equal. All have Shiva within them. May all be happy and peaceful.
9. To change the state of affairs in your country, do not work only at the physical level. Change the vibrations. Connect to divinity. There must be no scattering of the vibrations. There must be uniform emotion of optimism and hope in the higher powers as also the infinite potential to create positivity that is inherent within us. Stop finger pointing. Begin self analysis. Introspect on your own contribution.
BABA JI ON STRENGTHENING THE CHAKRAS, THE EMOTIONAL BODY AND RAISING THE CONSCIOUSNESS
10. Weakness on any front arises the moment we drift away from our soul. The soul is the purest of the pure light of unconditional love. It is far removed from the logic of the world which discriminates, finds faults and tries judge others or your own self.
11. The ageing process in these times has fastened in the hectic routine of city life. While a village man looks much the same even after decades, the city man begins to fade in a matter of 365 days. This is because everything is being done in haste. And haste makes waste. The poor lifestyle, with minimal or zero emphasis on exercise and good eating habits, too is a huge contributory factor.
12. There are three gunas in every human being – Tamogun, Rajogun and Satogun. And there are also three knots of ignorance in an individual. They are:
Brahma granthi
LOCATION: Mooladhaar chakra
This is the most gross of the knots. The Tamoguni karmas are governed by the opening or closing of this knot. The more it is open, the more is the detachment from worldly vices of ego, greed, anger, lust, and attachment. This knot is untied by the Guru through his tapa shakti.
Vishnu Granthi
LOCATION: Below the Anahat chakra
This is the knot of ignorance which is medium in nature. There is worldly enjoyment but the luxuries are governed by both Satoguna and Tamoguna. This knot has to be opened by the disciple himself by giving unconditional love to all, by forgiving all and by accepting everyone the way they are. All these 3 in addition to the kundalini sadhna taught by the Guru.
Rudra Granthi
LOCATION: Above the Vishuddhi chakra
This is the knot of subtle ignorance. After having crossed the hurdles of Brahma and Vishnu granthi, there may occur the false ego of spirituality. But the Guru helps pierce this too if one happens to reach till here through his own efforts.
13. The simplest way to completely destroy the progress of the Kundalini or consciousness is to consume alcohol. Baba ji mentioned yet again that if one desires to finish himself completely both in worldly and spiritual life, he is free to consume alcohol, whiskey, beer etc. Those who genuinely want to progress on the path of Shiv Yog will never even think about hard drinks. Not even beer,

BABA JI
ON 2012 ASCENSION PERIOD
14. “I want to congratulate all Shiv Yogis for they have become the torchbearers of divinity in the ascension of this planet. They have helped establish a divine protective shield around Earth, which not only averted a catastrophic occurrence, but also lead to the ascension of the planet from third to fourth dimension. As seekers who have come as far as Goa to seek the divinity, I will guide you all in the emotions you need to encourage within yourself to keep up with the ascension. As a start, give up manipulation in any situation. Be simple and loving. Have no impure intention and hidden motives.”

GENERAL
15. Shiv
Yog calls for fulfillment of all the debts. All debts can be broadly classified
under three categories:
a) Karmic debt
b) Sansaarik debt
c) Adhyatmik debt
Leaving out even one will land you in trouble.
So how to make sure that along with the daily life, one can also pay back these debts?
Here’s how.
In the morning, perform the DEVA KARMA (Pran kriyas, Swadhyay, Sadhna). This will help pay back the Adhyatmik debt.
In the afternoon, perform the SAKAAM KARMA (the professional duties). This will help in retuning the Sansaarik debt.
In the evening, perform the SHANTI KARMA (the duties towards the family members). This will help in paying back the karmic debt.
16. Every meditation will lead you to unconditional love, acceptance and forgiveness. Every desire in life is motivated by happiness. So why not experience these ebeforehand when we eventually have to reach there.
17. Be truthful in every manner.
18. Be non violent at all times. Harbour the emotion of unconditional love always. Violence does not always imply physical violence. When you think negatively about a person, you are committing violence. Any form of expression of aggressiveness or negativity in physical action, emotional feeling or mental thought is counted as violence.
19. Be self satisfied. Do not try to snatch what belongs to others. Keep your sights firmly on what you have received. Never be jealous.
20. Make a discipline rule book for yourself. And these rules will make you one day.
21. Expect acknowledgement for your good deeds only from your own self. Do not fall in the trap of ego and run around begging for praise from others. And in case others do not praise you, you start lashing out negativity on them. You are answerable to only yourself.
22. Every evening de-stress yourself with meditations. The Saayein sandhya or the evening worship is done to release the negative karmic baggage accumulated in the course of the day. The Praatah sandhya or the morning worship is done to fill the five bodies with the energy of the divine.
23. In life, remember only the happiest moments. Try to emphasise on only them. Do not provide space for unhappy thoughts. Burn the past. Bury the sorrow and never look back from there.
24. When the Guru cleanses the negative karmas of an individual, he leads the disciple to a fertile garden. Now it is up to the disciple to plant the seeds of negativity or positivity in that garden.
As a Guru, Baba ji advises all Shiv Yogis to plant the flower of good health, success, sound relationships and positivity to make it a garden of divinity. In this garden of divinity, the water and manure will be the sadhna, sewa and sankirtan. The insecticides will be forgiveness.
25. Every individual must undertake at least one sewa project of teaching an underprivileged child, providing food and means of empowerment to the needy etc.
26. Sewa is something that you do for your own self. Not for others. Sewa is not done for praise.
27. No disease is incurable. Just because allopathic medicine doesn’t have cure for a disease, it shouldn’t mean that the disease is incurable. If you can create a disease, you can kill it too.
28. Typhoid, Tuberculosis, Jaundice etc were are incurable at one time in history. People used to die after contracting these diseases. But once medical science found a way to cure them, the death rate reduced and now is zero. No person dies of jaundice now. But the teaching is not that medical science is doing wonders. It is that time has come that man realizes that he himself too can do wonders as all the healing powers to heal all the diseases is within you. Only the belief and will power has to be there.
