Goa Shivir 2014: Divinity Unplugged Cont..

Day 4

Namah shivay! Unbelievable. Inexplicable. Amazing. Inexpressible. These words can only make a feeble attempt to describe how the fourth day of the Goa shivir panned out. Baba ji has catapulted the divine atmospherics being experienced during the shivir to the point where finite depictions do not hold the power to describe the happenings. Still, through beautiful pictures and write-ups, one can only attempt to indicate the unprecedented healing being showered by Baba ji.

The goose bumps felt upon Baba ji’s arrival in the K K Birla Auditorium in BITS, Pilani sum up best the indescribable and untold excitement which engulfs the zone of Baba ji’s presence. But what was experienced in the last session of the fourth day in Goa was beyond what even goose bumps can reveal, beyond what words can attempt to describe and beyond any human imagination.

Baba ji’s voice is so spellbinding that any bhajan he sings turns into a divine poetry. Even the occasional old filmy line he sings sounds so pleasing, leading one to feel that this soul is someone very special. The hands automatically fold, the body automatically bows down and there is a natural emotion of devotion and worship that Baba ji’s presence brings about.

Baba ji sure knows how to make someone happy. He knows a little more on how to fully satisfy a soul. A slight example of this ability of his to trigger divine ecstasy was seen by all the sadhaks on the fourth day of the shivir, which some said was also the best day of the special shivir so far. The third and final session of the fourth day turned out to be a divine gift out of the blue for all the sadhaks. One after the other Baba ji unleashed a string of immensely touching and soul stirring Shiv Yog bhajans, sung in deep sentimentality towards the Guru & Almighty.

The session began with Guru Da Darshan and Baba ji being a supreme Guru bhakt himself seemed like a sadhak transported to some other dimension, receiving fresh initiation from his Guru. His eyes closed in devotion. His hands slightly raised in acknowledgement and his lips singing the praises of the shakti of his Guru as the photos in this album will reveal.

A prolonged Guru Da Darshan was followed immediately by Ek Din Bandeya, reminding the sadhaks of the transient and temporary nature of the human birth. During the bhajan, Baba ji drove home the point in the mind of the sadhaks that at the end of life, what will count is the balance of the punya karmas. Worldly riches, inflated financial status and exceptional wealth will be of no use when the last breath is exhaled. What will matter are only the good deeds of service which you have performed during your lifetime.

This was followed by the Namah shiva namah shiva kar bandeya. It looked like Baba ji wanted to convey to the sadhaks the urgency to raise the consciousness, the immediacy of understanding that materialistic pursuits are not the only reason for our existence and there is a higher goal to be achieved. And he was not wrong. Life is indeed short-lived. By the time we realize our mistakes, it is time to depart from this world. And there is no guarantee that we shall return in the same human form, in the same affluent conditions.

To join these three back to back bhajans and take the atmosphere to a different level of divinity altogether, arrived Swasa di Mala Naal Simraan main tera naam. Baba ji’s musical appeal to the Almighty to embrace him and become one was supported by all the sadhaks who followed him line by line.

All through this shivir, it has been Baba ji’s earnest desire to ignite the spiritual fire in the sadhaks. The sustained effort has included lovely Dhyan Sankirtans too.

So, to end the day, after all these bhajans had created a rarefied and inexplicably sacred and spiritual air inside the auditorium, Baba ji saluted the saints with Namokar mantra which is

Namo Arihantanam
Namo Siddhanam
Namo Ayyariyanam
Namo Uvajayanam
Namo lohe sava sahunam

The session had only and only bhajans but the bliss experienced during these bhajan sankirtans can be described only by those who felt it on the spot. Beyond words. Beyond goose bumps.

So let us leave apart such sacrosanct experiences which are beyond our comprehension. Let us understand the easy to comprehend teachings which Baba ji spoke on so well in the two sessions before the complete sankirtan session.

Although whatever comes out of the divine vocal chords of Baba ji becomes a point to be noted, there are still some teachings which are most essential. They are being shared below for the convenience of sadhaks the world over.

SHIV YOGI VERSUS AN ORDINARY PERSON

1. While an average person would cut corners when asked to do some work, love his family or care for his own self, a Shiv Yogi, in contrast will be sincere in his spiritual duties, his duties towards his own self, his family, his society, his Guru and his fellow beings. A Shiv Yogi will never shy away from hard work and effecting a positive change in his life. He will be disciplined and will have a fixed routine.

2. A Shiv Yogi will have a strong determination. He will say no with confidence. He will not be addicted to any bad habit – smoking, drinking, tobacco, drugs etc even to a small extent.

3. If there is a problem in life, a Shiv Yogi will not stop at curing himself on only the physical front. He will heal himself in totality that is body, mind and soul.

4. A normal person will succumb to any difficult situation in life. A Shiv Yogi will learn the lessons from all troubles and emerge victorious to a higher scale after the problem by not committing the same mistake again.

5. A Shiv Yogi seeks wisdom from the Guru and not short term remedies for superficial cure.

6. Whereas an average person would be happy to remain in his comfort zone, even if it means degradation of the level of his consciousness, a Shiv Yogi will always try to come out of his comfort zone. A Shiv Yogi will have a burning desire to raise his vibrations, a burning desire to heal his life as also those of his nears and dears, a burning desire to evolve.

7. A Shiv Yogi will not try to escape from challenges in life. He will give it his all. He will do or die. There will be no ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’.

After having read all of the above, ask yourself, can you call yourself a Shiv Yogi? If not ask yourself how much more do I need to improve and begin bringing the positive changes right away.

BABA JI ON GIVING UP COMPARATIVE HAPPINESS

8. Make a sincere effort to understand your goals in life. The immediate, mid-term and long-term goals must be clearly spelled out.

9. Whenever you wish for something, first analyse the consequences you will have to face if the wish materializes. Ask yourself what is the intention behind the wish. Is the intention impure? Am I wishing something to show off to the world? Is my desire driven by belittling others?

10. Happiness must never be relative or comparative. Happiness is an inner phenomenon. It cannot be arrived at by means of competition. The misleading idea of happiness based on bettering others is actually an excuse to fuel your ego and give birth to more of the vice of jealousy which will eventually lead to downfall.

11. Never wish for something which will lead to your spiritual descension.

12. Baba ji cited the example of a wife who had a penchant for exotic and luxury watches worth lakhs. Her husband had been gifting her watches since her last two birthdays. For the third year running, the husband bought a Rs 3 lakh watch for her. Baba ji commented on this: “When you gifted one watch, okay one can understand. When you gifted the second watch okay one has the other hand to wear it. But how will you make her wear the third watch? Is she Goddess Lalita Tripursundari who has multiple hands?” This sparked peals of rip-roaring laughter among all. The message was to stop running after such materialism.

13. Those who feel that the more the money you spend on someone, the more you love that person are living in a fool’s paradise, said Baba ji. Money must be spent wisely. There must be value for money. Emotions, subtle actions, certain sweet gestures weigh far more than extravagantly splurging on luxury gifts, just to satisfy ego.

14. Shiv Yog is the path of truthfulness. Every action, every teaching is based on reality, grounded in divinity.

15. If you really love someone, perform massive charity yourself and pray to God: “Dear Almighty, I dedicate the good fruits of this charity to xyz (name of the person). This is the true welfare. This is doing something really worthwhile for someone. Materialism leads to utter frustration. The biggest gift you can give someone is to pray for the best of the best of this someone. Don’t run after conforming to the worldly products which have zero effective value. All that practices of presenting expensive gifts can do is to lead you downward.

BABA JI ON DEBT REPAYMENT, KARMIC RELEASE AND PAYING THE PRICE

16. Every day that you wake up from the bed, pay gratitude to these in this order
a) Your home. Negativity will perish by itself.
b) Second gratitude has to be to your parents. If you are a married woman, you have to pay gratitude to your in-laws who are like parents for you now. You have karmic give and take with them now.
c) Third gratitude to the spouse.
d) Fourth one to the Guru who has opened the doors of divinity for you.
e) The fifth one to the one who has made everything possible – the supreme Paramatma.
f) Identify your goal and visualize that it has been accomplished. Pay gratitude for it’s successful accomplishment.

17. Nothing comes free in life. There is price to be paid for everything.

18. If you are only enjoying life, doing nothing for others, you are rapidly spending the bank balance of your good deeds. The day the balance will expire, there will be nothing left and a miserable destiny might follow. Therefore sewa is an essential must in life.

19. The debt of these entities have to be paid at all costs
a) Mother Earth
b) Guru
c) Parents
d) Society
e) Country

20. If you eye what is not yours, if you try to steal others’ possessions, you are carving a path where you will be deprived of even what you were entitled for initially.

21. The difference between a birth lived like that of an animal and one that is lived truly like a divine being is this:

The animal-like person will be interested in only indulgence for himself, not caring a damn about others. Such a person will have to meet the same fate as an animal. Some day he will be enslaved. Some day he will lose his freedom. Some day he will be locked in a cage and held in captivity.

The divine being-like person will have the best of the best in his life, but he will not be blind to the pain of others. He will work to uplift others also along with him. He will have the feeling that if God has empowered me, why I shouldn’t help others to achieve the same with the means available to me.

22. Performing Nishkaam sewa will help release all the karmic debt, the accumulated karmas of the previous births.

23. Even if one continues doing the sadhna, there comes a stage where the hard layers of accumulated karmas refuses to go. It is here that Sewa softens the inner core so that the release process becomes very easy.

24. Instill in yourself the attitude of gratitude. A part of the debt is paid by merely extending your gratitude to:
a) Your 5 bodies for working in day in and day out at your service.
b) Your invisible Spiritual Guides, Siddha Gurus who stop you from committing sin, knowingly or unknowingly.
c) Your parents
d) Your teachers
e) Your Guru

25. The universe is running on the principle of gratitude.

MISCELLANEOUS

26. Baba ji is often asked, by sadhaks that what if I am very positive and the other members of my family are negative?
His answer: If other members of your family are creating too much negativity, don’t be disheartened. Do not give up. Do not become negative yourself. If such a situation arises, raise your vibrations such that your divinity overpowers the negativity of others. The dominant energy should become the positive energy.

27. The biggest deterrent to healing is the rigidity in belief that now I’m established in the state of disease and now I cannot be cured any which way.

28. In the walls of your home, hang only those photos which send out a positive message. Pictures of weapons, of wars, of instruments etc. all have an effect on the sub-conscious mind and slowly the members of the house will be restless and irritated.

29. The inner décor of your home must be in keeping with the theme of peace and tranquility. Because the inner environment is directly affected and influenced by the outer environment.

30. Your consciousness will rise only when it is pure. When impure, it will stagnate or spiral downward.

31. Do not run after competing with others. Run after excellence. Competition must only be with the self. Every day in every way you should get better and better from what you were yesterday.

32. Figure out the negative beliefs you carry with yourself. Find out the bad habits, the bad tendencies, the vices which are acting as obstacles to your journey from being finite to infinite. Ask yourself, what is stopping you from being complete? Once, you get answers to these questions, chalk out the solutions, measure the progress in removal of these hurdles and plant a positive belief instead of the earlier negative one.

33. Your perception towards the world is how you yourself are. You treat others the way you are. If you don’t respect yourself, you will not respect others. If you do not love yourself, you cannot love others. In life, your attitude decides what you get. Your belief in the divinity is the key.

34. To choose your destiny, change the inner look. Automatically, the outer look will change, the perception, the viewpoint and the entrenched beliefs will change.

35. Perform self introspection rather than analysis of others. Don’t try to belittle or suppress others from succeeding. Do not try to overhaul others. Don’t try to manipulate to succeed. Be like the sun. Shine so hard that even ihose who do not know you, take notice.

36. There is no point applying kilogrammes of external cosmetics to look good. In order to shine, you will have to apply the inner cosmetic. Once, the inner beauty is established, the outer beauty will emerge on its own. The inner cosmetics are Unconditional love, positive belief system, forgiveness and acceptance of everyone the way they are. Seek forgiveness from others if you have inflicted pain on them.

37. The Guru will grant you the wisdom, the shakti and he will also show you the path to Self-Realiation. But walking on this path is a choice left to you. The Guru cannot travel for you. Karma you will have to perform by receiving guidance from the Guru. The rule of karma says that negative karmas can be released by only the person who has performed them.

38. To release karmas, healing of the higher bodies is must.

Goa Shivir 2014: Divinity Unplugged Cont..

Day 3

Namah shivay! As a spiritual scientist, Baba ji has reported through meditative observations that the pineal gland, about which medical science is yet to find anything concrete, is seeing a rapid deposition of calcium, leading to its calcification. This has led to the overall decline of the modern day man.

The pineal gland is the highest centre of spiritual doorway in our physical body. It controls the level of tolerance, the behviour, the level of discipline, physical health, emotional health, rhythm of the body and the overall functioning of the endocrine system.

The decadent and pathetic lifestyle of the contemporary times as also the view of the medical science that we can afford to ignore this gland, has killed the emphasis on the activation of the Pineal gland, which corresponds to the Agya chakra in the forehead. This explains the rapid decline of moral values and disinterest in improving one’s own self through meditation.

Such interesting spiritual diagnosis formed the third day of the Goa shivir.

Over the course of the last few years, Baba ji had made it a habit to give healing energy in a controlled and regulated way, even in Shree Vidya shivirs, so that it does not become difficult for the sadhaks to digest so much energy. But, the old timers will agree on this that the kind of exceptionally uncontrolled and excessively powerful healing being performed here in Goa by Baba ji reminds one of the good old days of the vintage Shiv Yog healing shivirs of Rishikesh.

Baba ji has himself admitted that the energy that he is dispensing this time is ruthless. It will burn karmas very strongly. The effect of the divinity is such that during the meditations the level of peace and karma release reaches a point where there is a continuous flow of valium secretion from the pineal gland. Almost everyone has reported such tranquility and peace of mind that even during meditations, one feels like falling in an infinitely long sleep.

Baba ji though has said that this is the real stupor which Lord Shiva is known to be in. People think that Lord Bhairon, an avtar of Lord Shiva consumes alcohol to stay in a state of drunkenness. But this “high” is not one caused by drinking alcohol as believed in popular religious folklore. It is caused by a deep state of peace and tranquility, currently being felt by all the sadhaks in Goa. Try talking to any one and you will know more,

Day three of the ‘Art of Self Realisation and Kundalini sadhna shivir’ or in simpler terms, Goa shivir, was one where patriotism was the flavour of the day. But this patriotism was not the one which involves the usual lectures about culture, history, independence, life sacrifices, national pride etc. Rather it was something never heard before. The following write up will put in a nutshell all the teachings of the day under their corresponding headings. Let us start with spiritual patriotism.

BABA JI ON SPIRITUAL PATRIOTISM

1. Every place of residence has four entities which one is indebted to. These are:

a) The Mother Earth, on which the ingredients of the food we consume grow. Without the fertility of the Mother Earth, there won’t be any life since there would’ve been nothing to eat.
b) The Sthaan Devta (Demi-god of the particular location of residence)
c) Graam devta (Demi-god of the district/village, larger area where the residence lies)
d) Kshetrapal (Demi-god of the entire region in which the residence is. For example Kal Bhairav is the Kshetrapal of the city Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh)
Every human being, living under a roof is answerable to these four. He is indebted karmically to these four.

The fulfillment of each of the above four entities can be done by these ways:

1) To pay back Mother Earth, respect all living and non-living beings of nature. Crae for them, feed them, keep them clean etc.
2) Keep the residents of your house very happy. Love them, accept them and forgive them. Create a very positive atmosphere at your home. Doing merely this will ascend the Sthaan devta, paying back its debt.
3) Graam devta can be pacified by working for the welfare of your state/city in any manner.
4) The debt of the Kshetrapal can be paid back by loving your community, your country, your countrymen.

2. Richness is not limited to only the quality of being materialistically rich. To measure the richness of a family, a society, a community or a nation, just witness how happy or unhappy are the people of that family, society, community or nation.

3. As a people of this holy land, we have developed a tendency to appoint a government and leave the rest for it to manage. To quote Baba ji, “As individuals, we all are possible instruments and tools in the machinery of the nation. We must do our bit for the upliftment of the country. Governance is not something outside, to be performed by only those ruling the country. Governance is something we have to undertake in every possible way at our end. Don’t be a parasite or mute spectator to the development. Governance is not about welfare schemes, it is about how much responsibility you are willing to take to work for the betterment of the land which has given birth to you.”

4. Come out of your comfort zone. Do not harbor an attitude which believes in the motto that everything that is wrong with the nation, with the people, with the society is because of someone other than you. Ask yourself, what has been your contribution to remedy the situation. Because complaining and fault finding is very easy. What is constructive is the individual contribution to eradicate social ills such as poverty and illiteracy.

5. A Shiv Yogi will always have the win-win attitude towards all. That means in any situation, may he also emerge a winner and others too taste victory. No one is left crying. Everyone goes home happy.

6. Little sacrifices on an individual level can help carve a grand future for the nation.

7. Don’t cry over the fact that there is lack of opportunities in your country. Create the opportunity by being the best. And the first step to succeeding in being the best is to harmonize your energy. All successful people have their energy focused in their field of work. There is no conflict of thoughts about the surety of success. They do not believe in pre-conceived notions. They do not think about failure. They give their best and discount the factors which a loser states to justify his defeat – inauspicious destiny.

8. Don’t be too critical of things. Respect the individuality of every human being. Being a spiritual person, you must enquire from your own self these questions to know whether you have become too intolerant of others.

a) Am I a true believer of God?
b) Are you a believer of only your God?
c) Do you believe in others’ God?
d) Is your God different from the God of others?
A true Shiv Yogi is tolerant of all religions. He does not distinguish and discriminate on religious, racial or caste lines. All are equal. All have Shiva within them. May all be happy and peaceful.

9. To change the state of affairs in your country, do not work only at the physical level. Change the vibrations. Connect to divinity. There must be no scattering of the vibrations. There must be uniform emotion of optimism and hope in the higher powers as also the infinite potential to create positivity that is inherent within us. Stop finger pointing. Begin self analysis. Introspect on your own contribution.

BABA JI ON STRENGTHENING THE CHAKRAS, THE EMOTIONAL BODY AND RAISING THE CONSCIOUSNESS

10. Weakness on any front arises the moment we drift away from our soul. The soul is the purest of the pure light of unconditional love. It is far removed from the logic of the world which discriminates, finds faults and tries judge others or your own self.

11. The ageing process in these times has fastened in the hectic routine of city life. While a village man looks much the same even after decades, the city man begins to fade in a matter of 365 days. This is because everything is being done in haste. And haste makes waste. The poor lifestyle, with minimal or zero emphasis on exercise and good eating habits, too is a huge contributory factor.

12. There are three gunas in every human being – Tamogun, Rajogun and Satogun. And there are also three knots of ignorance in an individual. They are:

Brahma granthi
LOCATION: Mooladhaar chakra
This is the most gross of the knots. The Tamoguni karmas are governed by the opening or closing of this knot. The more it is open, the more is the detachment from worldly vices of ego, greed, anger, lust, and attachment. This knot is untied by the Guru through his tapa shakti.

Vishnu Granthi
LOCATION: Below the Anahat chakra
This is the knot of ignorance which is medium in nature. There is worldly enjoyment but the luxuries are governed by both Satoguna and Tamoguna. This knot has to be opened by the disciple himself by giving unconditional love to all, by forgiving all and by accepting everyone the way they are. All these 3 in addition to the kundalini sadhna taught by the Guru.

Rudra Granthi
LOCATION: Above the Vishuddhi chakra
This is the knot of subtle ignorance. After having crossed the hurdles of Brahma and Vishnu granthi, there may occur the false ego of spirituality. But the Guru helps pierce this too if one happens to reach till here through his own efforts.

13. The simplest way to completely destroy the progress of the Kundalini or consciousness is to consume alcohol. Baba ji mentioned yet again that if one desires to finish himself completely both in worldly and spiritual life, he is free to consume alcohol, whiskey, beer etc. Those who genuinely want to progress on the path of Shiv Yog will never even think about hard drinks. Not even beer,
BABA JI ON 2012 ASCENSION PERIOD

14. “I want to congratulate all Shiv Yogis for they have become the torchbearers of divinity in the ascension of this planet. They have helped establish a divine protective shield around Earth, which not only averted a catastrophic occurrence, but also lead to the ascension of the planet from third to fourth dimension. As seekers who have come as far as Goa to seek the divinity, I will guide you all in the emotions you need to encourage within yourself to keep up with the ascension. As a start, give up manipulation in any situation. Be simple and loving. Have no impure intention and hidden motives.”

GENERAL

15. Shiv Yog calls for fulfillment of all the debts. All debts can be broadly classified under three categories:
a) Karmic debt
b) Sansaarik debt
c) Adhyatmik debt
Leaving out even one will land you in trouble.

So how to make sure that along with the daily life, one can also pay back these debts?

Here’s how.

In the morning, perform the DEVA KARMA (Pran kriyas, Swadhyay, Sadhna). This will help pay back the Adhyatmik debt.

In the afternoon, perform the SAKAAM KARMA (the professional duties). This will help in retuning the Sansaarik debt.

In the evening, perform the SHANTI KARMA (the duties towards the family members). This will help in paying back the karmic debt.

16. Every meditation will lead you to unconditional love, acceptance and forgiveness. Every desire in life is motivated by happiness. So why not experience these ebeforehand when we eventually have to reach there.

17. Be truthful in every manner.

18. Be non violent at all times. Harbour the emotion of unconditional love always. Violence does not always imply physical violence. When you think negatively about a person, you are committing violence. Any form of expression of aggressiveness or negativity in physical action, emotional feeling or mental thought is counted as violence.

19. Be self satisfied. Do not try to snatch what belongs to others. Keep your sights firmly on what you have received. Never be jealous.

20. Make a discipline rule book for yourself. And these rules will make you one day.

21. Expect acknowledgement for your good deeds only from your own self. Do not fall in the trap of ego and run around begging for praise from others. And in case others do not praise you, you start lashing out negativity on them. You are answerable to only yourself.

22. Every evening de-stress yourself with meditations. The Saayein sandhya or the evening worship is done to release the negative karmic baggage accumulated in the course of the day. The Praatah sandhya or the morning worship is done to fill the five bodies with the energy of the divine.

23. In life, remember only the happiest moments. Try to emphasise on only them. Do not provide space for unhappy thoughts. Burn the past. Bury the sorrow and never look back from there.

24. When the Guru cleanses the negative karmas of an individual, he leads the disciple to a fertile garden. Now it is up to the disciple to plant the seeds of negativity or positivity in that garden.
As a Guru, Baba ji advises all Shiv Yogis to plant the flower of good health, success, sound relationships and positivity to make it a garden of divinity. In this garden of divinity, the water and manure will be the sadhna, sewa and sankirtan. The insecticides will be forgiveness.

25. Every individual must undertake at least one sewa project of teaching an underprivileged child, providing food and means of empowerment to the needy etc.

26. Sewa is something that you do for your own self. Not for others. Sewa is not done for praise.

27. No disease is incurable. Just because allopathic medicine doesn’t have cure for a disease, it shouldn’t mean that the disease is incurable. If you can create a disease, you can kill it too.

28. Typhoid, Tuberculosis, Jaundice etc were are incurable at one time in history. People used to die after contracting these diseases. But once medical science found a way to cure them, the death rate reduced and now is zero. No person dies of jaundice now. But the teaching is not that medical science is doing wonders. It is that time has come that man realizes that he himself too can do wonders as all the healing powers to heal all the diseases is within you. Only the belief and will power has to be there.

Goa Shivir 2014: Divinity Unplugged (Hindi)

Namah shivay! Hinting at a prospective future Shiv Yog Healer’s University, which would have degree and diploma courses for the purest of souls just like an academic varsity, Baba ji kicked off the Goa shivir by laying a new kind of emphasis on the million dollar primary question of Tum Chahtey kya ho.

The shivir has begun on an excellent note. And if Baba ji’s kind healings are anything to go by, by the end of the shivir, each one of the attendees will go back as a very very healthy individual. Because Baba ji is healing not only the physical body but also the emotions, the mind, the soul, the subtle bodies and activating the divine powers in the petals of the chakras. Some exceedingly powerful meditations are in store, as the first day has sent all indications pointing to this.

Baba ji added a new dimension to his signature question of Tum chahtey kya ho, saying we must be crystal clear about every single expectation from every situation and action in life. He said, “Before beginning this programme, this time I will urge you all to write down in the Golden book, Tum is shivir sey chahtey kya ho? Do you want to continue complaining about the pool of misery you find yourself in or do you now want to bring a fresh and positive change into the scheme of things in your life? First choose one path and have no doubts after that. Take your time in deciding. If you want to traverse on the positive path, follow it in totality. After having decided the positive path, don’t divert to the negative one, giving logic”

Baba ji informed all that he had been in spiritual solitude for all the sadhaks, asking his Guru, his deity, his own self what would be the best way to explain to the spiritual seekers, the route to a new path of divinity. And it was just before the shivir that he got his answers.

Some of the teachings of today are being shared point-wise below:
GENERAL
1. To find the correct answer to the query of Tum chahtey kya ho, go deep down in sadhna and then do the interrogation. Because at the superficial level, you may select something which is not for your ultimate good but when you go deep in dhyan, logic discontinues, the cleverness to manipulate vanishes. Only the real truth remains.

2. Visualize the effect of your actions. Foresee the result of your words. Know the repercussions of your karmas.

3. Heal not the disease but the human as a whole. Because a disease is only the physical aspect of a greater problem, existing at the emotional level, mental level, karmic level and spiritual level.

4. To release these blockages, the overall detoxification of the body is foremost. At the physical level, start with the food.

5. Refuse to accept your negativity. Because Baba ji says acceptance of troubles is also a sin. When Shiv Yog calls for acceptance, it doesn’t mean it should be interpreted as acceptance of your diseased self, acceptance of your poor relationships, poor finances, all kinds of troubles etc. Acceptance should be that of your true self. You have the infinite potential inherent in you.

6. Do not be create psychic impressions of your limitations. Bring in purity. Try to become better and better every day in every possible way.

7. Lying or uttering untruth even while joking is a sin. So always stay truthful.

8. Self healing is a move towards self realization. So we must first talk about immediate goals in life and only then should we approach the higher goals. It is very easy to talk of moksha when you are in trouble. But real sacrifice is when you have everything with you and you realize that there is a higher aim to be achived. The aim of raising the consciousness through sadhna.

9. You have not taken birth to experience pain, sorrow, misery and troubles. All these occur when you go against the flow of nature. Every mishap, disease or unfortunate happening has its root cause in unnatural behavior, emotion or act. Nature is unconditional love. Anything other than that is bound to nurture the devil.

10. Write the Golden book every day. Seek a perfect destiny. Channelize your energy to materialize the goals to achieve this perfect destiny.

11. Do not be lazy and put everything to God. Real effort and toil you will have to put in. God will only erase the karmic factors responsible for you not getting till your goal. You will have to take the first step forward.

12. Surrendering to the Guru is like sending a car for repair. When a car is damaged, what we do is park it at the repair workshop. Once brought there, we let the workers repair it as per their knowledge. We do not fiddle in the process because we know and trust them that they understand the process of the car repair and maintenance. Likewise, when we surrender to the Guru, we must let him change us. We must follow his teachings completely. The consciousness of the Guru has risen. He knows exactly how to repair us. So we must let him do the job and not interfere by emphasizing on the negativity in life by getting angry, feeling jealous, guilty, vengeful, attached, greedy and egoistic.

13. The person who waters the emotion of inferiority complex within him develops a balloon of ego. So never live with a slave like mentality.

14. Do not bring kartabhaav or a miscued sense of doership. You are never ever the doer. In reality, not even a small particle in this universe moves without the divine sanction. You have all incarnated to serve a divine purpose, to just become the medium for divine activities, to evolve by devoting yourself to Shiva. All the healing powers are within you. What you have to do at your end is merely surrender and give up the emotion of “I’m doing this”, “I did so much for so and so”. This I is the devil within you. Do not give manure to the tree of devil. Follow the path of gratitude and divinity.

BABA JI AND GURU MA ON FOOD HABITS AND VALUE OF TEETOLISM FOR SPIRITUAL PROGRESS

15. Raise your vibrations through sadhna to the extent that anything, including food that comes in your vibrational field or aura becomes purified automatically.

16. Receive any food item with the intention that the Goddess has served you with her own energy.

17. Guru Ma added that food is Goddess. The one serving you is God. And you yourself too are God. So eating food must be an exercise without guilt.

18. Eat only 1/3rd of your capacity. Of the total three parts of the total capacity of the stomach, keep one part for food, one part for water and one part for air. Because your stomach is of the size of your closed fist and you fill it like it is a one huge tank.

19. Eat slowly. Chew every byte 32 times.

20. Have fixed time for eating and eat less than your capacity as mentioned earlier, Have smaller meals.

21. A sadhak who wishes to grow in spirituality must strictly stay away from red meat, beef and pork. All these three have severe negative effect on the energy level in a body. Since, these three deadly foods emit black energy, they completely disturb the aura and spiritual energy. The consumption of these begins the decaying process in the body and in that case the effect of pran kriyas and sadhna is nullified.

22. Whoever consumes alcohol, including beer, has no scope of spiritual growth. Even if you are a brilliant sadhak, worth years of meditation, it will take a second to erase it all by consuming alcohol. The simplest way to immediately lower your consciousness level is to drink alcohol.

23. The granthis or knots in the sushumna nadi which Baba ji opens on initiation of the kundalini get immediately closed again on consumption of wine, beer, whiskey or any alcoholic beverage etc.

24. Being addicted to smoking and intoxication is more dangerous than cancer because Shiv Yog says cancer is curable but the same can’t be said about addiction to substance, smoke and alcohol.

25. All these addictions weaken the defence mechanisms and close the petals of the chakras. Those who know Siddha scanning and clairvoyance to see the blockages in seven chakras, will see a massive surge of black energy of destruction developing inside an individual on consuming alcohol and taking drugs.

26. As Shiv Yogis, learn to say no with confidence. No peer pressure. No social drinking. No alcohol in any condition whatsoever. Not even a single drop.

27. During the course of the shivir, Ishan ji is expected to take sessions on de-addictions with special meditations, Baba ji informed.

28. Man creates habits and then those habits create a man.

BABA JI’S MANTRA FOR SUCCESS IN YOUR PROFESSION

29. Choose a career, a path, a way, a profession in life, which does not involve any kind of sin. For example violence, cheating, manipulation etc.

30. Serious seeking of a positive goal and unbridled greed are two very different things. You may want to earn name, fame, money and prosperity but do not end up in a profession where you have to follow the ways of the devil – jealousy, one-upmanship, violence, vengeance, malice, corruption etc. Choose a profession which does not encourage animal instincts.

31. Continuing his suggestions for the young and suave ShIv Yog sadhaks, who he wants to see shouldering the responsibility of carving out a holistic growth trajectory for the nation, Baba ji said,

a) “Deliver 125% of what you’re paid for in a job. This is the easiest way for ascension towards prosperity and excellent job environment in the current job and opening of the gateway to excellent future job opportunities.”

b) “At your work desk or in fact while working anywhere, perform the tasks with not merely your body. Involve the body, mind and soul. Everything that you do must have a soul. Everything that you say should have a soul. When I say that every action of yours should be a holistic karma, I mean that you undertake only those tasks in which you will devote your body, mind and soul. Any work done half-heartedly will not lead you to being a karmayogi, a Shiv Yogi. It will not contribute in any way to your spiritual growth. It can only bring it down.”

c) “Add emotions to your actions. It can be a heartfelt greeting, a soulful song or any action which has the emotion of devotion to it.”

In a major booster shot to the young sadhaks, Baba ji said to one of them, who was on the mic and had enquired about the propriety and correctness of his decision to study for Civil Services (IAS) exams, Baba ji gave a cheerful thumbs-up. He said the country needs holy souls like Shiv Yogis to run its administration. It’s a divine period and the most appropriate time that steadfast and honest youth, deriving their inspiration through sadhna take over the control of the country’s day-to-day functioning.
