PITRU - PAKSHA

Namah shivay the fortnight starting today i.e. the period of Shraadh is, in the Hindu tradition known to be a period of prayer for the souls of those of our ancestors gone by. For the superstitious it is also an inauspicious period when any new venture undertaken is doomed to fail. The auspiciousness or the lack of it of a particular moment is governed not by Nakshatr...a or Vaastu or a particular time period. Everything is, in fact a play of energy. Those practicing Shree Vidya everyday as taught by Baba ji are appeasing each of the 16 presiding goddesses and for them, every moment is that of glory. If your intentions are pure at all times and if your house is a repository of divine energy with a dedicated pooja room, there can be no evil forces at play. If you wish the best for all, love yourself, accept yourself and are aware of your fleeting existence on this planet and in humanly form, there is no evil that can harm you. The first concern i.e. doing for the departed can be addressed by undertaking bhandaras and mass charity drives. Pitra mukti is also brought about by sadhna in the evenings. But all this must be Nishakam with no ulterior motives or expectation of fruits attached. Follow the aforementioned and the upcoming 2 weeks will be a blessing in disguise for you.
