MESSAGES FOR ADVAIT SHREE VIDYA SADHAKS

Shree Vidya Essentials Part 3: Seek enablement, not escapism from Guru

Are these thoughts criss-crossing your mind?
GOD PLEASE TAKE ALL MY SORROW, SINS AND MISERIES
CAN GURU ALONE ERASE MY NEGATIVITY?
WHAT SHOULD BE THE PRAYER IN THE HOUSE OF GOD?
SEEKING ENERGY FROM GURU, CAN I WASH MY HANDS OFF MY KARMIC BAGGAGE?

Get solutions and more to all these in this video.
Namah shivay! Conferring liberation and wisdom on a disciple is as easy as pie for an Enlightened Guru. But the last thing he would want is for his pupils to become escapists and lazy-men.
He thus urges sadhaks to change the tone and tenor of the prayers they do in the house of God.
The law of nature, he says, is whatever you give, a thousand times returns to you. So even when we reach a worship spot, the approach mustn't be that God please take all my miseries, sorrow, pain and sins. Seek blessings. Seek empowerment.
Agreed Guru is the all-powerful and possesess the might and strength to purge his ward of all the suffering but even if the guru removes the pain, lack of purity will result in the disciple generating more suffering. So, what the Guru does is to empower the disciple with the ShivAgni, the tapa shakti which can help him rid himself of the karma's by self burning.
The law of nature is that the release of energy can be performed only by the one who created it in the first place.
"Be careful when you go to the temple. Don't ask for God to take away, ask him to give you energy empowerment and offer the best to him. Ask for the way, for the path and not the action. What you have given birth to can only be undone by your hard work. Don't command the Guru or God, pay price yourself," he says.
