Queries of Sadhaks...Part 20

Q. Namah Shivay.....It is appreciated to follow the dedicated alter, time, asan, place...But what about "swansa di mala naal simran tera naam"Some time one finds self chanting Shree Vidya Mantra unintentionally @place other than the Pooja room or in bed. Kindly forgive my ignorance and clarify the doubt. Namah Shivay!
A. Namah shivay ji. Sadhna only in the pooja room and connection all the time. There is no restriction on establishing connection through breath any time else. Also follow the routine of Dev Karma in the morning, Sakaam karma in the afternoon and Shanti karma in the evening. Balance of spiritual and worldly life as Shiv Yog suggests can only be made when one is sincere in following this routine. Dedicated time and place for everything. Give your best at everything you do in every phase of the day. Blessings.

Q. Namah Shivay Babaji, before offering Old stock of Golden book to river (Jal Samadhi) Can I remove the Shree Chakra photo which is in the beginning and the last page of Golden book?
A. Namah shivay ji yes you may do that. Blessings.

Q. Namah Shivaya Babaji;; should we say om shri durga arpan mastu after swadhyay also like we say in durga sapt shati?
A. Namah shivay ji these are emotions not merely words. When you are in love, do you ask your partner whether you should say sweet nothings to the partner? Do you ask him/her whether you should smile? So why the question with God. More important than what is being said, bring the emotion. Learn the significance of what you chant. Unconditional love. You will get your answer. Blessings.

Q. Namah Shivaya; can you please tell me that how can we concentrate while studies?
A. Namah shivay ji Enhanced concentration is one of the direct consequences of ShivYog meditations. When the Agya chakra is opened, automatically focus improves. Blessings.

Q. Shiv Yog Foundation I am watching videos of many renowned Saint like Asaram bapu., Nityananda, Ramdev baba, Jaggi vasudev etc in short I listen to their spiritual discourse to gain more knowledge and more motivation to grow spiritually. And of course I watch shivyog videos too. Although I do spiritual sadhana of shivyog only can watching or gaining knowledge from any other Saint than our babaji is not recommended in shivyog? Is it wrong to listen to other Saint for motivation in spirituality? Please clarify. However I never attend their programs nor do their spiritual practice just listen them for the sake of knowledge. I do spiritual practice of shivyog only. Is it ok?
A. Namah shivay. Hear out everything from everyone but follow only one. Blessings.

Q. Namah Shivay... Please suggest due to health problem I am not able to follow the rules as discussed. I am doing Durga Saptshati Sadhna without bath on a sofaset. please clear my doubt if I am on a wrong path.
A. Namah shivay. In ShivYog we do not talk about the ailment. We engross ourselves so much in dhyan that rest of the things attain secondary status. There is a proper procedure and respect that we have to accord to such high energy meditations. It is the Goddess that we are invoking. There has to be a certain sense of decorum. Listening to chantings is fine the way you practice but sadhna has to be done properly. No compromises on that. Blessings.

Q. Namah shivay! how will us sadhak know whether and when we have cleared our whole lot of bad karmas completely?
A. Namah shivay when you see even a slight change in any aspect of your life, it is a sign of release of karma. But we should not be waiting for things to happen. Sadhna clears our karmas which are hurdle to the fruit of our actions. So when we release our karmas, any action we do becomes a success. Blessings.

Q. Can I bring a meru made of Copper or "Bell Metal (Peetal)" at home.........what is the best material??
A. Namah shivay ji. Copper Meru is the best bet. Ensure that it is hollow from inside and is not closed from below. Blessings.

Q. Namah Shivay Baba ji ,baba ji prnam baba ji me meru ko har roj subh sadhna ke same jal se abhisekh kar ke apke bataye anusar uspe sindur chdata hnu. to har roj abhisekh karna thik he? Aur baba ji us sindur ko ektha karliya karnu ya jal abhisekh me jane dnu krpya mera margdarshn karne om namah shivay baba ji.
A. Namah shivay ji. Meru has to be offered only kumkum and not water. You can perform the abhishek daily. The kumkum gathered can be sprinkled on your important financial documents, on your safe and if surplus, you can give it jal samadhi. Blessings.

Q. Namah Shivay, how is 'deep healing' shivir different from 'advanced shambhavi'? Are they the same?
A. Namah shivay ji. Advance Shambhavi activates the healing powers of the third eye through which you can explore an entirely new world of cosmic powers as will be explained during that shivir. Deep healing shivir will include meditations for purifying the seekers to ready them for higher meditations which will be slated immediately after the shivir and which will be announced soon. Blessings.

Q. NMS, Shivyogis, I told someone the lakshmi mantra babaji taughht us. That person recited the mantra when planting wheat in his fields and he said that when the harvest is ready, his is the best harvest of wheat in the entire village. I ask of you to share this mantra with all...especially the economically unadvantaged so that they can reap benefits...
A. Namah shivay. You are requested to send the needy to the shivirs. Wisdom and deeksha of the mantras is not to be revealed to anyone else outside. That is only for your well being. Prayers you can do. Blessings.

Q. Namah Shivay! How will I know whether I am technically doing my Shree vidya sadhana correctly? I don’t know whether am doing it wrong since the start because till now I haven’t neither been able to feel anything (energy &vibrations )at physical level
nor seen some changes in my life. Please shed some light. Also much gratitude to babaji for the wonders he is currently doing in Mauritius and namah shivah to Ishaan ji who made us laugh a lot these past few days. Thank you in advance.
A. Namah shivay. Without using too much logic and seeking perceptible transformations, lead a normal life. Shiv Yog meditations work at a very subtle level and they are a part of the routine. When you take bath, you do not keep pondering over its good effects the whole day. Its a task as part of the time table. Just like that, perform the sadhna and do not think too much over it. Change will come. Be consistent. Do not skip sadhna. Assign a fixed time for it each day. Just surrender to the Guru. Whatever is happening just offer it to him. The mind resists any change. It tries to give logic. It tries to question. Do not fall for this bait. Just treat Shree Vidya as the most useful addition in your routine. Carry on with it without waiting for miracles. Let the purification happen by itself. While in meditation give your best. While carrying out worldly tasks, do your utmost. When engaged in spirituality, do not think about the world. When engaged in the world, do not try to scratch out logic about spirituality. Blessings.

Q. I don't get time in morning and evening; can the sadhna be done in afternoon?
A. Namah shivay. Every phase of the day is assigned for some purpose. The morning and evening times give the most benefit if worship is performed in these times. Afternoon is the time for sakaam karma that is worldly pursuits. There has to be a pattern and rhythm to life. When you disturb this rhythm, you are tinkering with the spiritual clock. And the Guru's teachings are best followed uncontaminated. To become a real human being and reach the state of Shiv Yog you have to be a winner in spirituality as well as the world. Shiv Yog is the path of renunciation of vices, not life. Our life is something very precious. We have to enjoy it and face what it serves us, while staying connected to the divine. True Shiv Yogi is the one who does every task to perfection and in the exact time allotted for it. If you can still not eke out time for sadhna during the morning and evenings and take this as the worst case scenario, take solace in the fact that something is better than nothing. So in that case you may do the sadhna in the afternoon with less benefit. Blessings.

In a unique exhortation to his dearest pupils, Baba ji urges all of them to pay a part of their debt to him, albeit in a different way. NAVRATRA SPECIAL 9 : Seek and the Goddess shall grant

Baba ji contends that it is very important to have a goal in life in order to give it a direction .The goal should be classified as immediate, mid-term and long term. One should always pray to God and the Guru to fulfil that goal. One should not be apprehensive about how it would be fulfilled. One must only follow the path of divinity and truth. Trust God religiously and in due course of time you will realize that your wish has been granted. You have the power to change your destiny.

Baba ji reveals that many people approach him requesting a peek into their future through his clairvoyance. He says that he categorically spurns such requests as that would result in the seekers resigning to their fate Moreover, Baba ji says, destiny is changeable so peering at the future is not too worthwhile.

Baba ji advises the sadhaks to eliminate the logic mind during the process of manifestation and to just surrender to the Mother of the Universe.

He concludes that each one of us should realize that we have infinite potential.

NAVRATRA SPECIAL 8 : Worshipping the Real Goddess

Goddess Amba, the ocean of love and kindness is ever ready to grace the one who seeks Her blessings. So merciful is the Goddess that she is willing to manifest herself and bless the seeker in any form he so wishes. So from power to wealth, from poverty to illusion, all are her forms. It is upto the seeker in what manifestation he invokes the Devi.

On a different note, Baba ji adds that the birth of a girl child signals the arrival of a Goddess in the family. If a person is devoid of wisdom and perceives this birth as a burden for life, the Goddess grants him troubles for his life. The new born baby girl has the Goddess activated in her as Bala Tripursundari.

Daksh Prajapati is one example of a man who paid the price of disrespecting his daughter. He was blessed to have the Goddess herself as his daughter but she warned to depart as soon as he disrespected her. He prospered as she entered his family as Goddess Sati and because of her blessings he came to be hailed as 'Prajapati'. But later, as he insulted her, she departed, replacing his head with a goat's head.
The second time a Goddess enters the family is as the daughter-in-law. The latter is symbolic of Goddess Mahalakshmi. But an ignorant person instead of welcoming the Goddess is concerned about the windfall monetary gains in the form of dowry. Doing this ruins his luck.

The third form of the physical manifestation of Goddess is the old mother. If she is abandoned, the Mahakali gets upset.

Baba ji sermonizes that it is no good worshipping idols if one cannot respect the living aspect of the Goddess. He adds that there can be no family where the women are disrespected and the family is prospering. Thus, the more the women are respected in the family,be more the divine energies will be willing to come to those families.
