Shree Vidya 2 Goa-----Invaluable Gyan

Namah shivay although the immensely divine shivir being held at Goa is a highly secretive one too but there are some teachings from it which can be disbursed to anyone and everyone. Infect every sadhak needs to follow these teachings some of which never have been told by Baba ji. Some of them have been elucidated below:

The phrases in quotes are the exact wordings of Baba ji.

"श्री विद्या साधक को मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम होना होता है! अपने लिए कुछ नियम बनाओ जिनका पालन हर हाल में करना तुम अपना कर्तव्य समझो"

Baba ji said as a Shree Vidya sadhak one ought to lay down certain principles which one should follow as a beholden duty. We must look to emulate Lord Rama who never compromised his ideals even if it meant sacrificing something as important as His wife Sita.

Baba ji listed some essential duties for every relation. Some of them are:

As a Husband-----Never admonish or pillory or ridicule your better half. Treat her as Parvati Ma. Accept her the way she is. Politely put forward your point. Humbly talk to her.
As a Wife-----Never be nag and pester. Never try to teach a lesson to the husband.  Carefully listen and fulfill demands of your spouse.
As Children-----Respect your parents. Remember you were helpless at birth and at subsequent stages. They were the ones to rear and care and bring you up to be able to stand on your own in life.
माता पिता का आदर ऐसे करना जैसे ऋषि मुनियों का करना होता है
To Elders -----Always talk in "मधुर वचन". Do not ever raise your voice to any elder anywhere in the world.
As Siblings----- Show care and concern. There shouldn’t be any fear between siblings. Everyone should enjoy their space and freedom.
 Towards Opposite Sex----- For Men:
1. See women as Devis and not objects.
 2. See young girls as Bala Tripura as a young Goddess.
 3. Do not judge the vital stats.
 4. Always be courteous and chivalrous to women.
5. Never ever abuse or reprimand a woman. It will have direct consequences to your Shree Vidya sadhna.
 For Women:
1. See men as Devs.
2. Do not portray and depict fear for men.
Baba ji also said that many people say that if a man and woman are alone sexual tendencies are bound to inevitably follow. This He said was a delusion and extremely wrong impression. Sex is a means of procreation and not a foregone conclusion in solitude. It is animal tendency to think about opposite sex as objects of seeking pleasure.

"तुम्हारा इस  पृथ्वी पर Unconditional love के अलावा  कुछ है  ही नही! सिर्फ़ unconditional love तुम्हारा है बाकी सब उधारी है तो जो अपना है उसे कभी मत खोना"
  • As a Shiv Yogi and more so as a Shree Vidya sadhak do not ever be eager to take treats and parties from anyone. This can become a cause for regression. Finish this practice.
  • Completely abolish the practice of receiving gifts even on birthdays or any occasion for that matter.
 "अपने को अलंकृत करना भी पशु भाव है"
  • Immoderate Narcissism He said is also animal nature. One must dress up well and stay well clothed and gleaning but this should not assume proportions wherein you would like people to comment how you look or as it is said "pay you compliments". To stay up in front of mirrors preening and beautifying is sowing seeds of being an animal in the next birth.
 "मेरे पास साधना के लिए टाइम नही है"
  • This Baba ji said is a statement of fools. He said to experience the joys of life and success in this world we have to acknowledge the presence of the almighty without the permission of which not even an electron can move. We have all the time in the world to cater to the distractions of TV, Newspapers and phone nay social networking but we have no time for sadhna. At the same time it doesn’t imply that one should shun all worldly tasks and concentrate on meditation per se. An astutely defined balance is to be created.
  • When someone insults us, we feel inordinate hatred and resentment against that person. This feeling is very strong. The magnitude of strength of such a feeling needs to be brought in sadhna. The desire to be pure should be like the desire to take revenge upon insult.
Be like nature. If you throw garbage, the Earth doesn't eat you up but if someone throws some insult at us, our blood boils in the agony of revenge and retort.
Express gratitude to all of nature
As the trees provide you oxygen, Mother Earth selflessly provides you with space to work and stand other agents of nature help you live every day. Thank them every day without a miss.

"बाहर को अपने आधीन करो, खुद बाहर के आधीन ना बनो !"
  • Elaborating the above sentence, Baba ji said with new inventions and technologies being dished out every day, people get excited and become slaves of the mod cons. This must be avoided. Eagerness and excitement for these things should only be to a certain extent.
 "मधु कैटभ से बचना"
  • "Madhu" He said implies listening to undeserving or deserving opprobrium and praise to satiate one's ego. This He said gives fuel to one's inflating ego and is not good for a sadhak who is en route to salvation. So never be hungry for praise. If praise comes inadvertently to you just thank the almighty. Do not bask and wallow in the false ego.  "Kaitabh" on the other hand he elaborated means making statements like "I don’t get along with that person" or "I like and love everyone but not him/her".  Love everyone. All are creations of God. Just that they forget their real self. In no way should this make them a character of hatred in your eyes. Remember before entering Shiv Yog you too were alike.
 "भगवान बनो धनवान नही"
  • This Baba ji said was paramount since post 2012 all the richness and luxuries shall be rendered null and void. What will go along is your sadhna and divinity. Not to forget purity of intention and thought. This He quickly added did not in any way mean that one plonks oneself on a sofa taking shelter in the excuse that since everything is ending let’s sit back. The mere intention to do such a thing is venomous.
  •  "Don’t be a corrector. Lay more emphasis on emotions"
  • Baba ji said it is almost a habit to correct everyone in every manner possible. One should be only interested in correcting oneself.
  •  "Stay happy and make others happy"
 "अपने हर कर्म से पहले अपने से explanation माँग लेना की इस कर्म करने के पीछे मेरी क्या भावना है?"
  •  Baba ji said if upon doing the karma you will feel fear, anger, greed, revenge, resentment, non forgiveness and any other negative emotion, just backtrack. Back out from doing such an action because this will cause unimaginable harm to you as a sadhak.
 "अज्ञानी को अज्ञान मिले, मिल मिल बाँछे ज्ञान"
  • When you encounter a misdeed or misinformation about someone, it is the innate propensity to go and distribute it to others and see their reactions. Never do this. Anyone who does this is inviting great pain and sorrow.
  • Never criticize anyone. Not even politicians. Their karma becomes your part when you talk about them.
 "तुम्हे भगवान ने दो हाथ किसी को लताड़ने, पीटने या किसी के लिए ग़लत करने के वास्ते नही मिले हैं. ये किसी की सेवा और किसी और के आँसू पोंछनें के लिए दिए हैं"

Baba ji also said in jest and jokingly that the residents of Goa who used to party on Hip Hop songs now do so on Maheshasur Mardini MUCH TO THE AMUSEMENT OF THE AUDITORIUM.
Baba ji made everyone dance so much including Geetanjali ji and Ishan ji and requested everyone to enjoy party and dance everyday in life.

Meditation for Beginners

There are lots of misconceptions about the word ‘Meditation’. Since long time this term is widely misunderstood. Mostly people do something absolutely opposite in the name of meditation. Before knowing anything about meditation, it is important to know about all those practices and beliefs which are often considered as meditation but are not meditation, so that we can save our time by not following fruitless practice.

Meditation is not a technique:
The most common mistake beginners make when they start with any technique, they expect some unusual experience to happen and consider it as barometer to their spiritual experience. Such expectations distract their spiritual growth. The techniques of doing meditation are merely tools to assist how one (person doing meditation) can be more aware and mindful of his/her inner and outer world. Meditation is a way of being; it has to be there all the time to experience every moment without any judgments and expectations from mind. That is truly called meditation.

Meditation is not relaxation:
There are few similarities between the outcomes of meditation and relaxation; but there is a huge difference between them. Both makes you calm, serene and peaceful and rejuvenates after the practice. But awareness of ‘the self’ is the biggest chunk missing in relaxation. But Meditation is not Relaxation when you meditate.....its natural outcome is relaxation.

Meditation is not concentration:
Meditation is just one form of concentration is a big misconception.
Concentration can be considered as a runway for the flight of meditation to take off. When you constantly project your attention towards a particular task or activity you are doing concentration where as in meditation you do not project your attention towards a particular task or activities. It is very useful practice to deepen your meditation; but it is not meditation. It can be said that concentration is one-pointed awareness on particular object and meditation is an all encompassing awareness of self without directed towards any object.

Meditation is not thinking:
Our mind is a non- stop chatterbox that continues to create all sorts of good/bad, relevant/irrelevant thoughts incessantly. Meditation is about transcending the thought process and realizing the pure awareness or witness (which is our true being) which is beyond the thoughts. Knowing this awareness is what meditation is all about.

Meditation is not hypnosis:
Hypnosis is reprogramming of mind at subconscious level by reaching altered or trance like state of mind. Hypnosis deals with mental stuff and it takes participation in manipulating mental stuff in some way or the other. In hypnosis the person enters into a state of semi-conscious trance and become unaware of the moment which is not the case in meditation. Meditation is passive. We have to just witness our thoughts without judging or changing them in any way.

What is meditation?
Now you have clear idea of what meditation is not. Let’s see what meditation is actually. Meditation is the way of being present in the moment or being in the present moment. It is the quality of witness we all inherently have as pure consciousness which is our true nature.
Meditation is the way to bring us back to ourselves, where we can really experience and taste our full being, beyond all habitual patterns. In the stillness and silence of meditation, we glimpse and return to that deep inner nature that we have so long ago lost sight of amid the busyness and distraction of our minds.
"Meditation is a systematic way of making our mind quiet so that we can contact our true identity -self, which is the source of everlasting joy, bliss and peace."

Queries of shadhaks responded by Ishan Shivanand ji and Guru Maa

Namah shivay dear sadhaks the following are answers to all the relevant queries and questions asked on facebook answered by Ishan ji and Guru Maa

Q. 1 WANT TO KNOW ABOUT DREAMS.......WHAT IS IMPORTANCE OF DREAMS......IS THERE ANY CONNECTION OF DREAMS WITH OUR LIFE OR PAST LIFE OR ANY INTUTIONS...IN DREAMS....WHY WE SEE DREAMS AND SHALL WE CONSIDER THEM SERIOUSLY OR FIND ANY MEANING OR MESSAGE IN THOSE DREAMS.....IN SHORT WHAT DREAMS ARE? ......NAMAH SHIVAY BABAJI

A. In the words of Sigmund Freud, dreams are the royal road to the subconscious, he believes that a person’s sub conscious is where all his hidden desires are suppressed, feelings and impulses are stored. So the hypotheses is that understand the dreams and understand the mind, but as all other statements many scientists hold this true and many don’t.
Our mind functions all the time during each of our activities, and the most interesting thing about the mind is that its function is more eliminative then creative, for example if you look at a person talking to you, you are not just listening, you are looking at him, at his cloths, the color of his attire, red pants etc. And how do you know his pants are red? Your mind is accessing the memory of all the past objects you have seen which were red so there is a constant comparison. Your mind, to understand the present is constantly viewing the past at the same time drawing new conclusions. So much information is being processed. Science says that our sensory receptors take thousands of inputs per second, out of which only a hundred or so are useful. The other thousand are eliminated, so that you are able to listen to the person and understand him while all the other processes are eliminated, otherwise you would never be able to focus.
Dream is one such process where the mind throws out all the excess information, that is what Babaji says dreams are a release process, don’t get stuck in them there is so much you don’t understand in life why do you want to be busy now confusing yourself with dreams, in Shiv yog even the meditation is perceived with a drashta bhav, that is non judgment.
So let the release happen in dreams, and wake up refreshed with thoughts of what you need to do rather then what you did in your dreams.
Blessings Namah shivay

Q. 2 Baba ji told that we can use Snajeevani to energise/activate Yantras as well as mantras. He told the method for activating the yantras but he didn't say anything specifically about how to use Sanjeevani for activating/unlocking the Mantras. It would be great if we get to know application of Sanjeevani for Unlocking Mantras.
I have one more question, regarding difference between Gayatri Sadhana and Sri Vidya? Both are described as the supreme Sadhanas and Supreme mantras. What is the difference in the two paths of Gayatri sadhana and Sri Vidya?
Namaha Shivaya.

A. In a library there are many books, and if you want a book let’s say the Bhagvat Gita, what will you do? Go to the philosophy section in the library, then go to the Indian, section, then go to the section of books starting from the letter b, in this manner the Bhagvat Gita is easy to find.
The other method, I take the library and topple all the books in pile, then how much time it will take to find the book? Days months or even years.
Guru here does the work of a librarian he is the keeper of all, knowledge he knows what to give us and how we must approach it in a systematic way.
Therefore it is advised to use the mantras given to you by your Guru.
The easiest way to increase the power of a mantra or to activate it is that when we invoke the Sanjivini and it starts to flow within us, then to chant them.
Maa Lalita Tripursundari is a form taken by the Trigunatmak Shakti ( Maa Maha Kali, Maa Maha Lakshmi, and Maa Maha Sarasvati ) the Trigunatmak Shakti is the combination of all the Goddesses. Shree Vidya is the sadhna of  Maa Lalita Tripursundari the highest sadhna, given to us by our beloved babaji.
Blessings Namah shivay.

Q. 3 Namah Shiva. Please tell me what is the meaning of this sentence that you wrote that BABAJI SAID ("9 ki ginti chor do apne ko dekho tabhi dasam dwar khulega") I want to know, how can I know the Self or know the GOD? Will just meditating on his name take me there?

A. There was a village in which lived ten idiots, they would not work and make a nuisance of themselves, so one day all the village people gathered and told those ten idiots to go to the town and work for their living.
The idiots had to go, on the way they encountered a flood stricken river, they thought it would be very unsafe to cross, what if one of them drowns? So one idiot came up with a plan that “we know we are ten, after crossing we will count once more to see if we all are present or not, they did just that, after crossing one of them started to count one two three …….nine, counted all except himself and then started to howl that he had lost a friend, the idiots could not believe so they started to count, again counted nine, counted all except themselves, and they cried beat their chest, and when they were doing so in came a man, a saint, He asked what’s wrong? They explained their plight. The saint said count again. As the idiot counted, one two …….nine, the saint grabbed the idiots hand and placed on the idiot's chest and said TENTH!!!! The idiots were overjoyed, miracle!! Miracle!
That’s what Baba ji says we search the world, the temples, the books, to find the one. We seek the help of rings, of lockets to search the one. We moan, we cry, we seek the help of palmists, astrologists to find the location of the one, we count all the nine but forget the one, which is us.
Baba ji says stop running after the nine, seek the tenth, meditate within, look within and you will become God ?????? Finding God is not Shiv Yog but becoming one is.
Blessings Namah shivay.

Q. 4 If someone who don’t do sadhna then how does sickness come to their life is it EGO take any part? If yes Please let people know meaning of EGO.

A. Ego is that belief or thought or knowledge, to uphold which you have, hurt somebody (mentally, physically or emotionally). Whenever you need to put someone down by judging them or by any other means to put yourself up is ego. Ego is said to be cause of all suffering, as a person having a wrong self image (ego ) will deviate more from the real I, The more he deviates, his false image will seek false gratifications. False as even after getting them he won’t find happiness, (examples can vary from materialistic to revenge ) this will lead to sorrow and anger, and the persisting sorrow will manifest itself in the form of disease.
Meditation under the guidance of a Guru is the best way to understand the real I .
Namah shivay.

Q.5 Baba ji has said in the video that he will come when we call him .......and for the healing.... so why I m not getting healing .....I call him daily....in every sec...... Why I m not getting his answer....tell me and reply me.

A. Baba ji says “bhav re”, meaning all is intention, pure intention. Call him with all intention he will come, Personal experience. “Bhav re” !!!
Blessings.

GEMS OF SHIVYOG - PART 2

  • Don't get into the Karta bhaav; HE does everything.
  • Bade baba (Bhagwan Nityanand ji) taught baba ji (Shivanand ji) "Bhaav re" (intention) in everything. There has to be rhythm in that intention.
  • Be aware of the intention of every word you utter.
  • Be aware all the time, don't do anything without consciousness.
  • As the bhaav happens, certain set of DNAs start vibrating.
  • Just like there is a creator and destroyer, there are two sets of DNA - one that gives life and the other that destroys. So with your "bhaav" you activates creation or distraction in your life.
  • Every incident creates two impressions - good and bad.
  • You can't create bhaav with an incident of the past; be in the present. The fourth dimension is present.
  • The phenomenon of planet earth is always two. There can't be one. If there is a negative there has to be a positive. Disease - health. If science has not yet discovered cure it doesn't mean that the cure does not exist. (Babaji meant for every disease there is a cure."
  • Until you reach the desire less state, know what you want in life, plan, and be an architect for your life.
  • The Sanjeevani is supreme consciousness which is intelligent. Do not interfere with how it works or how it should work. Just give direction and use intention (bhaav).
  • Sanjeevani is Lord Mahamruthunjaya's unconditional love.
  • Maa Sanjeevani listens to not our verbal language but language of emotions and feelings.
  • Power of prayer is again your bhaav.
  • Guru ko baandhna hai bhaav ki rassi se. (Bind the guru with the rope of intentions and feelings.)
  • Whenever some issues come up that seem impossible, write what you want (solution) and keep it between two yantras and chant - it gives miraculous results.
  • Don't fall in techniques while chanting mantra, use bhaav (intention).
